Branding
To ensure people recognize us easily and consistently, we ask everyone producing marketing materials for the Revolution Party of Canada to follow these branding guidelines and reach out to us if you have any questions or concerns.
01. General Guidance
Our party's brand is comprised of more than just the logos and colours and has meaning beyond just the aesthetic. Please keep that in mind as you create brochures, signs, websites, documents, and every other piece of content.
02. Content
Above all else, the content of our messaging must adhere to the values of the Manifesto of Human Needs. Maintaining a consistent aesthetic is important to build our brand, but takes a back seat to the substance of our message.
03. Typography
Titles are written in Roboto Bold.
Content in the body of text is written in Montserrat and slightly smaller than the title.
04. Primary Colour
Our primary colour (gold) is partially inspired by yellow of Elections Canada, Elections Ontario, and the Canadian Museum of Human Rights. We chose it because we're a human rights-centric party that feels strongly about electoral reform - not just because it's the only colour other than brown not already claimed by a major party in Canada.
This golden yellow is used in the 'ring' and 'x' in the colour version of the logo. When used as a background, text in the foreground should be in black (#FFFFFF).

The wordmark
Our icon is a circle (to represent equality) with a small x in the middle (to represent voting).
Our wordmark is the words "Revolution Party," written in Roboto Bold, inline, vertically centred, to the right of the icon.
